How much should you spend on Google ads?
This question is much easier to answer, and depends mostly on your location, and how long your practice has been in business.
Paid Search advertising is effective to reach ratients who are looking for services TODAY. We build and run effective paid search campaigns, reaching new, potential patients who are close to a buying decision. But everyone wants these kinds of potential patients, so the competition is so much more competitive, and thus, you pay more to be seen by a smaller audience. Therefore paid search ads will yield you QUALITY when it comes to finding new patients, but the amount of leads is considerably less than with another platform, such as Social Media ads. If you have a mature practice (over 5 years), you are a better candidate for paid ads. Additionally, the larger your market, the more you have to spend. Someone in Houston would have to spend 2 to 3 times as much, to have the same impact someone may have in Springfield, Illinois.
For us, we recommend $5 - 10k on Google ads for a small market. Our recommendation doubles if you are in a major metro area. One Caveat, however, and that is to always spend enough to be able to generate enough traction. We recommend you spend no less than $5k to truly be effective.
